The Danube Institute is inviting applications for its four-month internship programme starting in February 2017.
The Danube Institute internship gives four interns the chance to deepen their understanding of international events and trends, and develop their critical/editorial thinking.
The activities involve providing, after initial training and under continuing guidance, edited current affairs content from the English-speaking world media for the DI website, and supporting the Institute in managing its conferences and other events.
We provide a modest stipend.
Requirements: interest in and general familiarity with international current affairs; a willingness to support the Institute's aims; upper intermediate level English, native level Hungarian.
Applicants must have student status (with valid documents) during their internship.
To apply, please send us your CV and cover letter (with a personal introduction with your subjective thoughts and aims) in English, and a 350-word reasoning in Hungarian on one of the following subjects:
- What do you expect from the Trump presidency?
or
- What would be the best possible future for the European Union or Europe itself?
Application deadline: 10 February 2017.
